We have always lived a very frugal life. We are both vegetarians and we only buy second-hand or eco-friendly stuff. Our son has just turned two. At the moment, we are looking for some clothes for him, but we are aware it is not worth spending a fortune on such things. He might not even wear them more than a few times before he grows out of them. We usually buy organic baby bedding clothes but they can be expensive at times. I have already found a couple of companies that sell some stuff cheap, but we will first visit some second-hand shops and see what we can buy there. Actually, you can get some really interesting items there. I have recently bought some blankets, jackets and T-shirts. It"s autumn now so I suppose our son will need some new trousers, jackets, sweatshirts and scarves. But I"m not going to buy any toys at second-hand shops. You never know if it is absolutely hygienic, do you? So we would rather not take that risk. I have found some good quality organic baby toys online. I"m going to order them today. We are also meeting my cousin next Saturday. She has a three-year-old son. She gives us some clothes and toys if they do not need them any more. It"s a different thing when you know where these things come from and who used them.
