During our last classes we went to the new opened museum in our city. The museum is a museum of new technologies. It contains a lot of old objects connected with computers, internet and all the stuff like that. We saw many different things like the first mouse ever produced or the first monitor from the late fifties. Our teacher was our guide and he told us many interesting facts about computers and their history. The museum is situated in an old building where in the late eighties a network company was situated so the atmosphere of this place is very unique. The creators of this museum wanted to keep as much objects as possible to make this place as close to the original as possible. I think that the biggest and most interesting place in the museum was an old server room that as our guide said has not changed for almost thirty years. We saw old network cabinets, different devices and huge machinery that was used here a long time ago. After the trip was over we were very impressed and our teacher gave us as a homework to describe the thing that was for us most interesting. I decided to describe the old server room, its atmosphere cannot be forgotten. I only hope that I will get a higher grade for this homework and that will improve my English grade at the end of the semester.
