In order to enter the Faculty Of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Silesian University of Technology all the applicants have to pass the theory test in one of the following subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Information Technology, Chemistry or other technical subject. The examination questions can be based on various additional materials requiring, for example, the ability of interpreting diagrams and graphs. The minimum score on the theory test required for admission vary and depends on the average scores of all the candidates in the current academic year. The test is followed by the spoken interview which aims at explaining the applicants. choice as well as testing the general technical aptitude including logical thinking and problem solving skills. After the examinations, the tests are assessed and the final score is given which is based on the free theory test and, to a lesser degree, on the verbal interview with the candidates.
